“They all float down here” - Pennywise the clown, from Stephen King’s “It”.

A hilarious take on the classic quote.

Hilarious Firefly T-shirt idea referring to one of the rants Jayne had in the series.
Math is important, ya know.

Back in 2000, there was a time when this was my fave song. Brilliant!

That face… This cat really likes that cake!
Do cats even like cake? I mean I know a cat who actually does, but other than that…?

When I saw Armored, I could tell he’s also great with action and has a keen eye for casting. He reminded me of Quentin with how he was able to work with a group of very strong, singular actor talents and make it look effortless.

Robert Rodriguez has just compared a hungarian director to Quentin Tarantino. Am I awake?

Tekken 3. After eleven years*, this is still one of the best games ever. When I didn’t have a control pad, I used to be able to do Xiayou’s 10-hit-combo using the keyboard only. Xiayou is the best.

So, even if Avatar is a failure in the box office, it’ll garner fandom over years when it’s released on HD, HD+, HD3D++, Limited Edition 4D, and so on.

4D? LOL.

Also what’s so bad about it debuting at Comic Con, how does where it debuts affect what happens when other people see the trailer? It’s not like the average movie goer sees the trailer and thinks, damn this had already debuted elsewhere, which makes the movie suck.

The user Svmun about the Avatar trailer, which they still haven’t released. I wholeheartedly agree with him/her. I won’t watch the trailer though :-)

Unfair comparison
Zan453: The trailer for 2012 simply blows AVATAR away!
Coldreaver: 2012 VS blank screen. You're right: 2012 IS better.

Make this a classic, Jim, will ya?

Childhood’s end is not your run-of-the-mill SF story. Clarke brilliantly puts you in a very interesting situation, where alien Overlords are watching over humanity’s every move. You get to meet interesting characters, and it’s never formulaic and it’s never boring. A great experience, with a nice conclusion - and keep it in mind, that it was written in 1953!
My rating: 8/10
Definitely recommended.
